Fraser Coast (Maryborough) Chronicle microfilms, Immigration records, Cemetery Records including the Maryborough Council burial records at the Maryborough Cemetery, up to January 2005, on CD (does not include records of cremations).

For more information have a look at the Fraser Coast Libraries’ catalogue of family history holdings.

On site there are 2 microfilm readers, 1 microfiche reader and computers available for your use. The Association has online access to Library Edition Ancestry.com, Find My Past, British Newspapers and many more for researching on-line records.

The indexing of 'Local names mentioned' in the Maryborough Chronicle newspaper (1860-1940) has been completed and is available in the Family History Room. This information provides a very valuable research tool when used in conjunction with the National Library of Australia’s digitised newspaper collection.

Alternatively, the microfilms of the 'Fraser Coast (Maryborough) Chronicle' are held in our collection and are available to view on the microfilm readers.
