Our Research Room is in the Hervey Bay Public Library. Together we have some great resources! Anyone is welcome to use these materials. Members of the Hervey Bay Family History Association are available to assist – let us know if you’re planning a visit and we’ll try to ensure that help is at hand.

Births, Deaths & Marriages in the Maryborough Chronicle have been indexed for the years 1880 to 1940. The index may be accessed in the Family History Room or a request for a search of the index may be sent via the contact us link.

If you’re unable to visit Hervey Bay Public Library we also offer a Research Service.
